No matter what I am walking through in my life, there is a beautiful light at the end of my tunnel. My darkness cannot last forever.
The best thing that my Creator has made was one day after another. Today will come to an end and tomorrow will begin. My vision is focused on the day ahead of me.
One thing that I can be sure of every day is that the sun will rise in the morning. Life is a cycle of beginnings and ends. Like the sun, opportunities are new every morning.
Sometimes the demands of life can feel like emotional claustrophobia, forming a tight cluster around me. My responsibilities can make me feel like I am lost in a daze. During these moments, I look ahead and thrust myself into the future.
After a while I see the reward of my hard labor. No longer am I enclosed in darkness. I am care free and filled with hope. The light that I see waiting for me gives me the strength I need to keep going.
The dazzling light is the brilliance of my accomplishments. They are worth enduring the shadowy tunnel. If tunnels did not exist, light would be taken for granted.
Just as sure as the light is coming, I know that another tunnel will soon follow. I remember how the seasons of life come and pass. It helps me bear the tunnels and reach toward the light.
After winter comes spring, bringing with it new life. I know my life will be renewed if I pass through the tunnels to reach my beautiful light.
