It has been a wonderful experience having an Asian female business leader through #StartMyBusinessToday mentoring me and modeling what running a business looks like. Mostly I’ve only seen white male business leaders, and I don’t relate as well to them and usually I don’t like the way they do things.
Judi Rhee Alloway does not always have a perfect work-life balance; she is still learning and growing herself. She shows her vulnerabilities and weaknesses. That’s also why she’s an inspiration.
Who wants to work with someone who acts like they’re perfect?
Judi also shows her achievements, knowledge and expertise. It’s a great wake-up call to watch an Asian woman who is not shy about her accomplishments. A breath of fresh air. I hope it’s contagious.
