1/18/2013 Korean Women’s International Network (KOWIN) Mountain Retreat:
Judi attended the Korean Women’s International Network Mountain Retreat in Annapolis, Maryland to present a workshop on self -motivation and organization. Judi trained attendees and presented a workshop titled “Self Motivating Organization”.
1/20/2013 Asian Americans in Energy Environment and Commerce (AE2C) Lunar New Year:

1/21/2013 – 1/22/2013 Inauguration Swearing In Ceremony and Inaugural Pearl Ball:
Judi was invited to the White House in Washington, DC to join President Obama and thousands of others to witness the Inauguration swearing in. Judi also attended the Inaugural Pearl Ball, which was exclusive to only a certain number of people and was invitation only.

Judi was invited by the Conference’s organizers to represent AE2C. The Committee of 100’s 22nd Annual Conference brought together government, corporate, and opinion leaders from across the United States and China to discuss key issues in the world’s most important bilateral relationship. The conference addressed four themes central to U.S.‐China relations: building strategic trust in the bilateral relationship; economic cooperation and competition; Chinese investment in the United States; and portrayals of China in U.S. political campaigns.

5/25/2013 Korean Women’s International Foundation (KOWINNER) 4th International Convention:
Judi attended the 4th International KOWINNER Convention in Vienna Austria as a speaker and presented a workshop titled “The Four Motivations”. The Fourth Annual KOWINNER convention took place in Vienna, Austria from the 24th of May to the 26th of May at the NH Danube City Hotel. The KOWINNER foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2007 to foster networking amongst Korean professional women from around the world, to strengthen Korea’s competitiveness on the global stage and promote women’s rights.

Judi Rhee Alloway and Rondaya Woodbury, Community Manager for Imagine Leadership, LLC, presented a workshop on “Social Media” and how to establish a strong presence on social media websites. This event, which was located at Benjamin’s Desk on 17th and Walnut, included an interactive activity allowing those in attendance to create their own sample posts for social media sites as well as a HootSuite tutorial.

As part of Korean Coalition for Civic Participation (KCCP), Judi helped organize, invite, and promote this groundbreaking event. Korean American leaders from around the country gathered to talk about immigration reform, health care, and North Korean policy. House Representatives stopped by to show their support.

8/1/2013 “White House Briefing for the Korean American community”
Korean American leaders discussed health care, appointment of Korean American judges, innovation, weaving the Asian American story, and immigration with representatives from Health and Human Services, Special Advisors to the President, Department of the Interior and White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
8/10/13 NAAAP National Convention at the Sheraton Centre in West Toronto, Canada:
Judi presented an interactive workshop on motivation and behavior for Women in NAAAP titled “WIN!ning Motivation and Behavior”. Judi also included an info session for individuals interested in finding out more about Women in NAAAP (WIN!) and how they could become a part of it.
